I'm glad to see that you made it here! If you have, I assume that you are also a fan of the musical (or movie :d) "Hair." Either that, or you're severely directionally challenged. ^_^

Like all of you, I'm sure, I saw "Hair" and fell in love. And what do I do when I fall in love with a show? I look for fanfiction. The sorry thing is... we don't have a very active fandom. (*wry grin* Well... not very active online, anyway. We're very active in real life!) So there isn't a lot of fanfiction out there. Fortunately, what is out there is generally good, but it isn't easy to find, especially if you're new.

Thus this site. ^_^ I wanted to try to gather all of the Hair fanfiction that I'd found in one place to make it easier for those of us who'd like to read it to find it. ^_^

The only other thing that I ask is that you please read the submission rules before posting a story. There aren't many and they're there for everyone's benefit. ^_^

August 4, 2010 -- remember the date, tell it to your children. Proposition 8 is down!! :D :D :D I just felt it was worthwhile to stick a little news note up here about it, considering how near and dear to the heart this issue has been for the cast of Hair, Broadway Impact and so many of us fans. Treasure this moment everyone, because the fight is far from over.

*eg* Now how about some fic to mark the occasion, eh? ;-D

OK... so I'm just wondering if I can get a little input from everyone. I've been trying to futz with a few admin things on the site -- namely the e-mail function. Whenever the site e-mails me, it ends up in my junk mail folder no matter what I do. Is that happening for anyone else? If so, what e-mail client do you use? If it's only Hotmail that's the problem, I'd like to try to contact them and get it fixed, but I'd like to know the scope of the problem before I do anything drastic. ^_^ Thanks!

Today the sun sets on the Starshine tribe of Hair. Instead of being saddened, however, I'm going to try to remember all the good they've done. It's been a wild, incredible ride and hopefully there will be many more snaggy, shaggy moments to follow.

Anyone want a return to B'way after the Tour...? I'd be game! *sigh for wishful thinking* ^_~ Let's show a little love! October 2010 in New Haven, here we come! :D

*pokes the authors* And how about some new fanfiction to mark the occasion, hmm?

And... the site goes live. O_O Hopefully there will be people here other than me and the tumbleweeds... *unsure but game smile*

Gildedmuse has given me permission to host her stories here on hairfanfiction.net. Needless to say, I am very excited by this! Everyone should go read them and tell her how wonderful they are. ^_^
